Application of Gold Cyanide Leaching process

Cyanide leaching can be applied in several forms: agitated leaching, percolation leaching. Percolation leaching divides into tank leaching , heap leaching and leaching on-site . Agitated leaching divides into cyanide-zinc cementation process and cyanide-carbon absorption process , cyanide- carbon absorption divides into CIP (Carbon in-pulp) and CIL ( Carbon in leaching ) . CIL is a process leaching and absorption by activated carbon at the same time , CIP is a process that separate the absorption and leaching . CIL is more effective than CIP , so it is widely used in gold cyanide leaching process .

The difference between zinc cementation and carbon absorption :

1. In zinc cementation process , silver has less effect to the gold leaching ;

2. In zinc cementation process , the process of washing the gold solution is very complex and cost much , it has a bad influence in high quantity  clay-mineral treatment . But carbon absorption doesn`t have these influence .
